Is the Zohar (teachings about Jewish mysticism) 'of HaShem' or 'of wicked men?

A edited question from a dear friend about the Zohar....
"I've heard that (the Zohar delves into witchcraft) but someone has told me that I should purchase a set because there is much wisdom in them....
 ----------------------------------------

My response:
There might be some "wisdom" in it, but the whole premise is against the Torah. So, what I am trying to stress is this.... if it is against the Torah and its teachings... that is not very wise at all, my friend.

First and foremost, what I try to tell people is this.... read the Torah about 6 times over and nothing else....

Learn it and memorize it well. Read it with certain agendas in mind, as if you need to answer a certain question or something....

such as:
1) What does the Torah and the Tanach teach about "the state of
  the dead?"
2) What does the Torah say about a messiah, if anything?
3) What does the Torah say about the spirit of a person?
4) What does the Torah say about prayer?
5) What does the Torah say about spiritual beings, such as angels
  and cherubs?
6) What does the Torah say about witchcraft and sorcery? Does it
teach that some forms of witchcraft is really real? If so, does it
not than teach that not all knowledge is kosher, not all "wisdom"
  is kosher?
7) Does not the Tanach teach that Israelites committed genuine
witchcraft and were put to death for it (see the story of Samuel
  and Saul, after Samuel died).
8) How does one obtain holiness?

The Zohar teaches things against the Torah.

But read the Torah several times then read a few things from the Zohar and you will see for yourself just how pagan it is.

If, however, you do not thoroughly know the Torah and Tanach you will not have the discernment to know the differences.
